If you’re not familiar with the works of Carol J. Adams, it’s time you get acquainted. Her groundbreaking 1990 book The Sexual Politics of Meat ignited the intersectional feminist-vegan movement. Adams’ writings and presentations are essential and will truly change the way you see the world.
Adams was invited to lecture at Harvard Law back in February and posted the video of her talk on her Facebook page. At nearly an hour long, it is truly riveting and does not shy away from taking a hard look at some of the real problems facing the animal rights movement in the 21st century. When you have time, take a look. I can’t recommend it more.
